Pro-Assist was founded in December 2015 by Karina Follent, a passionate and experienced administrator, systems enthusiast and all-round nice gal. Coming away from a 10 year stint in businesses ranging from local government to mining and construction, Karina had a desire to enter the healthcare industry, but in an innovative way. Karina wanted to introduce the concept of innovation and business efficiency to healthcare providers, to help them run their practice more efficiently and give an incredible first and lasting impression to their clients.

Founder of Pro-Assist, Karina started her career in 2005 and worked her way up from folding A0 Plans down to A4 size to leading a team of document controllers on a billion dollar construction project. Over the years, it became apparent that systems and business efficiency were Karina's true calling, so in late 2015, the idea of Pro-Assist Virtual Administration was born: a culmination of Karina's experience, knowledge and passion.
Aside from systems, Karina enjoys going to the beach with her family, roadtrips and really good food.
