Pro-Assist was founded in December 2015 by Karina Follent, a passionate and experienced administrator, systems enthusiast and all-round nice gal. Coming away from a 10 year stint in businesses ranging from local government to mining and construction, Karina had a desire to enter the healthcare industry, but in an innovative way. Karina wanted to introduce the concept of innovation and business efficiency to healthcare providers, to help them run their practice more efficiently and give an incredible first and lasting impression to their clients.

Karina is the founding director of Pro-Assist Virtual Administration Services. Pro-Assist is the catalyst of professional assistance for allied health professionals, helping practices across Australia to implement efficient systems and run their practices as if we were sitting at their Reception desks.
Karina lives on the Gold Coast in Queensland with her husband, a toddler and an entitled Russian-blue cat. If Karina could live anywhere, it would be right next to Queen Victoria Markets in Melbourne, VIC, so she could visit every day and explore the incredible produce on offer.
